Preston County Visioning Committee

The Preston County Visioning Committee has randomly selected 1000 residents to receive a survey asking for their opinion on Preston County.  The survey data will be collected, compiled and combined with the student surveys collected in May.  If you don’t receive a survey and would like to fill one out, the survey is available at the Chamber of Commerce Office in Kingwood and at the Preston County Health Department located in the Kingwood Plaza.  The survey is also available in PDF format from the link below.  Data from the surveys will be presented at town meetings which will be held in the near future in communities around Preston County.  The community meetings will allow citizens and business owners a chance to voice their concerns for the county’s future.  The local Visioning Committee is made up of citizens from across Preston County.  The visioning process is a partnership between your Chamber of Commerce and the Community Visions Foundation located in Morgantown.   Community Meeting locations, time and dates will be posted on the Chamber of Commerce website and will be provided via email and public service announcements provided to local media.  We are asking you to take part  by filling out a survey if you receive one and/or by attending a community meeting.  We can all be a part of Preston County’s future through participating in the visioning process.

You may download the survey by clicking here.  Save the survey to your computer, print it out and mail the survey back to: Preston County Chamber of Commerce, 200 1/2 W. Main Street, Kingwood  WV  26537
